A globetrotting director, whose eclectic approach to his craft is shaped by his cultural experiences, his films are a window into the convergence of cultures in modern life. Heinz’ artistic vision is a testament to his multicultural upbringing which has been enriched by playing in punk bands, a pure love for classic cinema and collaborating with artistic friends from all over the world.

With his video camera he started documenting the subcultures of the Central American punk scene. His obsession for film led him to Spain where he studied Film Directing in Madrid, moving on to telling beautiful stories found in our contemporary culture and the moving, often emotional, core of everyday life.

Now based in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, the reach of Heinz’s work extends to projects in the US, Latin America, and Europe. His memorable spots for clients such as Adidas, HP, Pepsi, T-Mobile, Zillow, Netflix, Sanofi and Mondelez International are a testament to his ability to craft beautiful narratives that capture the essence of diverse cultures.
